Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor and accurately record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility, and positioning
Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
Communicate proactively and kindly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to ensure a safe environment

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Pennsylvania preferred or eligible to be certified)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by the facility
Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care
Proficient in taking and reporting vital signs
Basic charting and documentation skills
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Compassionate patient-centered communication and teamwork
