Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for Med/Surg patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings in the chart
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to support positive outcomes
• Monitor patient status closely and escalate concerns promptly
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain adherence to infection control and facility policies to ensure a safe environment

Qualifications

• Current RN license (must be eligible to practice in New Hampshire)
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• ACLS or specialty certifications considered a plus
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced unit

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of Med/Surg nursing principles and best practices
• Skilled in IV medication administration and patient assessment
• Proficient with electronic medical record documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during long shifts
• Collaborative teamwork and clear communication with patients and staff
