Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care as a practicing LPN
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
- Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
- Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) and promote patient comfort
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to support care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and adhere to infection control
- Participate in shift handoffs and thorough documentation to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license for Pennsylvania (required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable with medication administration and basic wound care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program (diploma or certificate)
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational nursing knowledge for adult and geriatric patient care
- Vital signs monitoring and documentation accuracy
- Medication administration and safe charting practices
- Basic wound care and ADL assistance
- Time management and prioritization on an 8-hour shift
- Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
