Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control protocols and promote a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and multidisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
Support admissions, discharges, and comfort measures with dignity and respect

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania
Valid state-required licenses and registrations as applicable
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Reliable transportation and availability for per diem assignments
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic nursing care principles and resident safety
Skilled in patient transfers, bathing, feeding, and toileting assistance
Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with electronic or paper charting systems
