Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Support safe and respectful patient transfers and mobility
Assist with hygiene, feeding, and comfort measures to promote dignity
Document care accurately and communicate clearly with colleagues
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — must be in good standing
Active PA authorization to practice as a CNA or ability to obtain state approval
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Background check and required immunizations (per facility policy)
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality patient care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control
Comfortable with patient lifting/transfers and use of assistive devices
Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work on a multidisciplinary team
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
