Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor and record vital signs, patient status changes, and intervene as needed
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education to ensure smooth transitions
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain best practices and compliance
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain one
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and participating in orientation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Professional, reliable, and able to pass standard background and health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program; LPN certificate or diploma required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical observation skills
• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Wound care and basic procedural competencies
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Infection control and patient safety best practices
• Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in a clinical setting
