Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs reliably and communicate changes to the care team
Support safe and effective patient transfers and mobility assistance
Assist nursing staff with basic treatments and documentation of care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control procedures
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through clear, kind communication

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Comfortable with patient lifting/assistance and basic caregiving tasks
Reliable, compassionate, and a true team player

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient hygiene
Experience taking and recording vital signs accurately
Basic charting and documentation skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
