Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
Assess patient needs, monitor conditions, and document changes accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely and with attention to detail
Communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members and patients' families
Collaborate in care planning and discharge coordination to ensure continuity
Advocate for patient safety, quality outcomes, and evidence-based practices

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state requirements apply; PA licensure preferred)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) encouraged where applicable
Clinical experience in acute care, med-surg, or a related specialty preferred
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and effective communication skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
High school diploma or equivalent (for entry prerequisites)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Infection control practices and patient safety protocols
Team collaboration, time management, and documentation accuracy
