Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care for long-term care residents, promoting dignity and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the PCC system
• Perform resident assessments and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Support activities of daily living including mobility, hygiene, and nutrition assistance
• Collaborate with RNs and staff; float between two floors as needed to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow facility protocols for infection control
• Contribute to a positive resident experience by building rapport and advocating for needs

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (or eligible) — ready to practice in Wyoming or obtain state licensure
• Experience in long-term care (LTC) nursing or similar resident-focused settings
• Comfort with electronic charting (PCC familiarity is a plus)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and float between floors as the unit needs
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain promptly
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations per facility requirements

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical judgment in long-term care and resident assessment
• Medication administration and accurate documentation skills
• Familiarity with PCC electronic health record workflow
• Excellent communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy LTC environment
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
