Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
Support nursing staff with timely documentation and effective communication
Build rapport with patients to promote dignity, comfort, and emotional support

Qualifications

Current, active CNA certification (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
Comfortable with patient lifting/assistance and basic physical demands of the role
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and comfort measures
Taking and documenting vital signs
Infection control and hand hygiene practices
Safe patient transfer and body mechanics
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and staff
Time management and basic clinical documentation
