Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 4-hour shifts, days vary; exact start/end times to be provided. Orientation included. Rad Tech shift.

Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy and care
Operate and maintain radiographic equipment following safety protocols
Prepare and position patients for imaging while ensuring comfort and privacy
Ensure image quality and proper documentation in the patient record
Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and support staff to deliver excellent patient care
Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures

Qualifications

Current state licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist, or eligibility to obtain one
ARRT registration preferred or willingness to obtain registration as required
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Comfort working with patients of all ages and clinical conditions
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow imaging protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiography program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in patient positioning and radiographic technique
Understanding of radiation safety principles and dose reduction
Familiarity with digital imaging systems and PACS workflow
Ability to document procedures accurately and manage imaging records
Good interpersonal skills for patient interactions and team collaboration
