Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself
Document care accurately and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
Help create a positive, dignified environment for every resident

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Prior experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills including vital signs, ADL assistance, and patient transfers
Infection control and proper use of PPE
Accurate documentation and charting practices
Compassionate patient interaction and dignity-preserving care
Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
