Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in the facility
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status and intervene promptly when conditions change
• Document patient care and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
• Support patients and families through education and empathetic communication
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by collaborating with colleagues and participating in quality initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (or eligible for state licensure)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced certifications encouraged
• Previous acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, dependable work ethic, and ability to work in a team
• Ability to pass facility onboarding and any required background checks

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting practices
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Familiarity with standard nursing protocols and safety procedures
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay calm in fast-paced situations
