Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate Med/Surg nursing care to adult patients
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely, following facility protocols
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with families
- Monitor patient progress and promptly document changes in condition
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education to support recovery
- Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring colleagues and promoting teamwork
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in New Hampshire
- Experience or strong familiarity with Med/Surg nursing practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe medication administration and patient assessment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong Med/Surg clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation best practices
- Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Compassionate patient- and family-centered care approach
