Roles & Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight to subordinate nursing staff
Coach, train, and educate staff on proper nursing techniques and procedures
Provide safe and professional care to residents
Follow each resident's individual plan of care
Practice Heritage Place's 'Choices Philosophy of Care'

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Nursing
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alaska
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
1 year of experience in long-term care preferred

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of nursing techniques and procedures
Understanding of safety policies and procedures
