Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 40 hours per week, flexible schedule to accommodate Home Health visits, typically 5-6 patients per day

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Treat patients with various diagnoses, including cardio, pulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions
Conduct physical therapy sessions in patients' homes
Maintain accurate records and timesheets for billing purposes

Qualifications

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) certification
Experience working in Home Health setting (new grads considered in extreme cases only)
2 professional references from modality submitting to (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 within 12 months & 1 within 3 years worked

Education

Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices
