Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices when needed
Document care provided accurately and timely in patient records
Collaborate with the care team to promote dignity, comfort, and recovery

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state certification preferred or as required by facility)
Comfortable providing direct patient care and assisting with ADLs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families
Ability to pass background check and any required facility screenings
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical care skills and infection control practices
Patient lifting and transfer techniques for safety
Accurate documentation and charting habits
Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
Teamwork mindset and ability to follow care plans
