Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients
Monitor and interpret complex hemodynamic and respiratory data
Administer medications and titrate drips safely according to protocol
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update care plans
Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
Document assessments, interventions and patient responses accurately in the medical record

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana (or compact state eligibility)
Current BLS certification; ACLS strongly preferred
ICU experience (critical care skills and comfort with ventilator management)
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong assessment, clinical judgment and patient-family communication skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required/preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and monitoring
Ventilator management and respiratory support
Hemodynamic monitoring and vasoactive medication titration
Infection control and critical care procedures
Proficient documentation in electronic medical records and clear handoffs
