Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Neuro Tele unit
Interpret EKGs and monitor patients' conditions
Administer medications and titrate as needed (e.g., Heparin, Amio, Cardizem)
Participate in bedside report and unit operations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Neuro experience a plus
Experience with Cerner EMR and EKG interpretation

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in neuro patient care
Ability to interpret EKGs and monitor patient conditions
Experience with titrating medications
Effective communication and teamwork skills
