Location: Bakersfield, California

End Date: 08-24-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Mostly Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional one day a week 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, plus one weekend every third weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality physical therapy services to acute inpatient patients
Develop and implement effective treatment plans to promote patient recovery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Participate in hospital orientation and department-specific training

Qualifications

Current CA PT license
BLS certification
Acute Inpatient PT experience required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Education

Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Physical Therapy
Acute Inpatient PT
General Medical/Deconditioned patient care
TKA, THA, Spinal surgery, General ortho patient care
CVA patient care
