Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
- Support documentation and basic clinical tasks as directed during shifts
Qualifications
- Active LNA certification (required)
- Willingness to complete facility orientation (orientation indicated as required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and reliably arrive for scheduled shifts
- Background check and immunizations per facility policy (as required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and personal support (ADLs)
- Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
- Safe patient transfer and body mechanics
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of infection control and safety practices
