Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Perform thorough assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient progress
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Document patient care and clinical findings clearly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license (ability to obtain NH licensure if not already licensed)
• Clinical experience in Med/Surg nursing preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred or available
• Strong clinical judgment, time management, and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment and medication administration
• Comfortable with IV therapy, wound care, and post-op care common to Med/Surg
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Infection control practices and patient safety protocols
• Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
