Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including personal hygiene, ambulation assistance, and daily living support
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Accurately document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Build rapport with residents and families to enhance patient comfort and trust

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid certification in the state of Pennsylvania or ability to obtain it
Prior experience in long-term care or acute care settings preferred
Basic life support/CPR certification preferred
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental patient care techniques and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation
Familiarity with infection control and hand hygiene practices
Patient mobility and safe transfer techniques
Clear, professional communication with patients, families, and staff
Comfortable using electronic health record systems for charting
