Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate a wide variety of surgical cases including CABGs, craniotomies, and robotic procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support both locations as needed
Precept new staff and share your expertise when the unit needs extra support
Respond to call coverage with a 30-minute response time to keep cases moving smoothly

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Minimum 5 years of hospital operating room experience strongly preferred
Proven robotics experience with both Mako and DaVinci systems
Ability to circulate CABGs and craniotomies confidently
Strong references and a track record of reliability

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise circulating cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general surgery cases
Comfort with DaVinci robot for urology, general, and CV procedures
Familiarity with Mako robot for orthopedic cases
Solid understanding of trauma, total joints, and spine procedures
Willingness to float between two nearby campuses
