Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with trades allowed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, independent care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
Support mothers and newborns through every stage of the birthing journey
Collaborate with a close-knit team where every nurse backs up the others
Float as a helping hand to other units when needed and embrace variety in your day
Respond quickly when the unit shifts from quiet to bustling, keeping patients safe and supported

Qualifications

Active Oregon nursing license or eligibility for the 90-day emergency license
BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong experience in L&D, Postpartum, Routine Nursery, and Intermediate Nursery
Ability to work independently across all areas with confidence and skill
Comfort with fetal monitoring and reading strips

Knowledge & Skills

AWHONN-aligned patient ratios and evidence-based care
Central fetal monitoring and maternal telemetry experience
Ventilator stabilization and Bubble CPAP support
Flexibility to handle changing patient volumes and assignments
Team-first mindset with strong communication
