Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and telemetry patients on a 32-bed unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs using Phillips telemetry equipment
Administer chemotherapy treatments and manage complex medication regimens
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Float to other MedSurg/Telemetry units as needed to support patient care across the hospital
Maintain sterile technique during procedures and ensure patient safety at all times

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Chemo certification preferred
Minimum one year of recent acute care experience preferred
Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation skills
Experience with oncology patient care and chemotherapy administration
Ability to manage vents including BiPAP and CPAP
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable floating between similar units as needed
