Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a wide range of specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures in a fast-paced 16-suite OR
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and precision
Serve as a reliable resource when charge nurse support is needed
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic while floating within Zone 1 as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum one year of OR experience with proven Trauma and Neuro cases
Charge nurse experience preferred
Ability to take call within a 30-minute response window

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards
Comfortable with robotic-assisted procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stay calm and focused during high-acuity trauma cases
Familiarity with Epic EMR
