Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to diverse patient populations including cardiac stepdown, lung transplant candidates, MI, and ER overflow
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips monitors while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and 24/7 respiratory and pharmacy teams to optimize patient outcomes
Float to other telemetry units as needed while maintaining excellent care standards across the facility
Complete required skills validation including SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma experience
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Non-titrating medication drips management
CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapy
Patient education and discharge planning
Sterile field maintenance and infection control
