Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied Afternoon/Day Shifts, 40 Hour Guarantee, One Weekend Per Month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform magnetic resonance imaging on patients using highly technical equipment
Prepare scan rooms and patients for examinations with care and attention
Administer IV and oral contrast materials when needed
Interview and screen patients for contraindications before MRI studies
Position patients appropriately and utilize correct protocols, coils, and restraints
Ensure proper image orientation and complete clinical documentation for radiologists

Qualifications

2+ years of MRI experience required
Siemens equipment experience required
Active MRI Certification through ARRT or AMRIT required
Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
Associate Degree required

Associate Degree required

Knowledge & Skills

MRI imaging techniques and protocols
Siemens MRI equipment operation
Patient screening and safety procedures
IV contrast administration
Image quality assessment and documentation
