Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third for days and every other for nights

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care across all patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
• Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry procedures
• Manage ventilators including Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion systems
• Support patients with BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy using Vision, V60, V30, and Airvo2 equipment
• Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7 to optimize patient outcomes
• Float throughout the hospital to deliver respiratory therapy expertise wherever needed
• Maintain excellent time management while adapting to changing patient care needs

Qualifications

• Current RRT or CRT credential required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NRP and PALS preferred
• Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
• Valid driver's license required for radius verification
• Must live outside the 50-mile radius from Omaha
• Cannot be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility
