Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to behavioral health patients
Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status throughout your shift
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Document patient care accurately and timely in the medical record
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to promote safety and recovery
Participate in de-escalation and behavioral interventions when needed
Support a therapeutic environment that respects patient dignity and privacy

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) credential
Experience or interest in Behavioral Health services
Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
Comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Certifications such as BLS are a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of behavioral health principles and therapeutic interventions
Skilled in patient assessment, documentation, and care planning
Ability to manage safety and crisis situations calmly and effectively
Familiarity with electronic health records and standard nursing workflows
Compassionate approach and strong interpersonal skills
