Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 05-30-2026

End Date: 08-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third for days and every other for nights

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory care across all patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry procedures
Cover inpatient areas throughout the hospital in the RT capacity
Collaborate closely with hospitalists, intensivists, and nursing teams
Adapt to different levels of patient care needs each day
Maintain flexibility while floating to various hospital departments

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP and PALS preferred
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Ability to work 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion ventilators
Experience with Vision, V60, V30, and Respironics S/T BiPAPs
Familiarity with Airvo2 high flow systems
Strong time management and adaptability skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn and grow in varied clinical settings
