Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call per week until 7:00 AM and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub in for a variety of procedures including neuro-trauma, cranial, orthopedic trauma, and total joints
• Independently handle cranial procedures with precision and confidence
• Support surgeons using advanced technology like DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and patient safety protocols
• Collaborate with a dynamic OR team in an 11-suite department averaging 18 cases daily
• Respond promptly to call shifts within 15 minutes to ensure seamless patient care

Qualifications

• Current CST certification preferred with proven scrubbing experience
• Strong background in neuro-trauma, cranial procedures, and orthopedic trauma
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Ability to work independently on complex cases while thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert scrubbing techniques for neuro, ortho trauma, and total joint procedures
• Familiarity with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
• Strong understanding of sterile field maintenance and infection control
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and respond quickly during procedures
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient safety
