End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with weeknight call Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 6:30 AM every 2-3 days and weekend call Friday 3:00 PM to Monday 6:30 AM every other weekend or full weekend option

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across a wide range of surgical specialties
Assist with general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and robotic procedures using the DaVinci Xi system
Collaborate closely with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow
Respond to call coverage with a 30-minute response time to support patient needs
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses to support both OR teams
Maintain accurate documentation in the Surgical Information Systems EMR

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2-3 years of operating room experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
BLS certification required
Hands-on experience with DaVinci Xi robotics and a variety of surgical cases
Trauma experience is a plus and will help you feel prepared for call

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and robotic procedures
Comfortable working in an 8-suite OR with 5-30 cases daily
Familiarity with Surgical Information Systems (SIS) EMR is helpful
Ability to adapt quickly and work independently after orientation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
