Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to telemetry and surgical patients including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, TIA, and CVA cases
Interpret basic telemetry strips and sign documentation at least once per shift
Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified, expanding your clinical experience
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in a 48-bed MedSurg/Tele unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some background with general, orthopedic, and spinal surgical patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and strip documentation
Care for post-surgical, neuro, and medical patients
Comfort with BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen equipment
Strong assessment and communication skills
Ability to float between campuses and units as needed
