Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and precision
Serve as a reliable resource when charge nurse support is needed
Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic EMR system
Float within Zone 1 facilities when extreme needs arise, showcasing your adaptability

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Proven experience in Trauma and Neuro cases
Charge nurse experience preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced 16-suite OR environment averaging 30 cases daily

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices
Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
Ability to handle trauma and neuro procedures with expertise
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to participate in call rotation and respond within 30 minutes
