Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound imaging
Conduct diagnostic procedures including drains and biopsies
Operate Phillips ultrasound equipment with precision and care
Collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate imaging results
Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout every scan
Document findings accurately in Fuji EPIC system

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification (General or OBGYN)
RVT certification preferred
RDCS certification is a bonus
BLS certification required
Strong experience in General and OBGYN ultrasound
Vascular ultrasound experience preferred
Procedure experience required

Knowledge & Skills

Ultrasound Imaging expertise
Patient Care excellence
Equipment Operation proficiency
Familiarity with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS
Comfort working with Phillips ultrasound systems
