Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, and post-surgical patients
Interpret telemetry strips and sign documentation at least once per shift to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with remote tele techs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent outcomes
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified, expanding your clinical experience and impact
Support patients through their recovery journey with skilled nursing interventions and education

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some background with general, orthopedic, CVA, and TIA patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and basic strip reading
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage patients on set-rate drips such as Diltiazem
Comfortable working with BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
