Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; occasional weekend coverage required with a weekday off in exchange

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including MedSurg, ICU, Telemetry, Oncology, and Cardiology
Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic conditions and total joint replacements
Provide specialized therapy for ventilated patients in the ICU
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans
Document patient progress using Cerner EMR
Support patients through every stage of their recovery journey

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in orthopedics, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patients
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations including MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy expertise
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
ICU and ventilated patient care
Cerner EMR documentation
Cardiology and post-cardiac surgery patient management
Oncology rehabilitation experience
