Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts, self-scheduling with balanced schedule provided to manager, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call requirement per census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate LDRP care to mothers and newborns in a supportive small-unit environment
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with a close-knit team of 2-3 RNs to deliver safe, high-quality care
Support patients with high BMI, diabetes, and substance use needs with empathy and expertise
Float within Zone 1 when needed to help neighboring departments during low census

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications required
LDRP experience essential
Comfortable titrating drips and reading own fetal monitoring strips
Willingness to take call and work rotating weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation using OBIX system
Experience with bubble CPAP and basic neonatal resuscitation
Ability to manage high-risk obstetric patients with diabetes and substance use
Flexible and team-oriented approach to floating within the zone when needed
Self-starter who can balance their own schedule while meeting unit needs
