Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, triage and stabilize emergency patients quickly and confidently
Administer treatments and medications per protocols and provider orders
Collaborate with physicians, techs and ancillary services to coordinate timely care
Document assessments, interventions and patient responses clearly in the chart
Provide patient and family education with compassion and clarity
Participate in department quality and safety initiatives to improve outcomes

Qualifications

Current, active RN license in the required state (ability to obtain NH license if needed)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS and PALS preferred or willing to obtain
Experience in Emergency Department (ED/ER) nursing preferred
Strong clinical assessment, prioritization and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and emergency assessment skills
IV insertion, medication administration and emergency interventions
Familiarity with common ED equipment and monitoring
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficient documentation skills and comfort with electronic medical records
Calm decision-making under pressure and strong situational awareness
