Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, CO

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable days, 4 10-hour shifts between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, including weekends and holidays as needed, with call requirements of 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform general, vascular, and procedure-related ultrasound studies
Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain a high level of image quality
Work effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation

Qualifications

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong vascular experience
Experience with procedures and ultrasounds

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Ultrasound and vascular procedures
Image acquisition and interpretation
Patient care and communication
Electronic medical records (EMRs) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)
