Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients with dignity
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Perform safe transfers and ambulation assistance using proper body mechanics
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition promptly
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Follow infection control procedures and facility safety policies at all times
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the care team to deliver person-centered care
• Support a positive resident experience by engaging respectfully and attentively

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required pre-employment screenings
• Comfort with night/overnight shift work and flexible per-diem scheduling
• Strong communication skills and a caring, professional bedside manner

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assistance with ADLs and basic patient hygiene
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs and intake/output
• Knowledge of safe transfer techniques and use of mobility aids
• Familiarity with infection control best practices and PPE use
• Reliable teamwork, time management, and patient-centered communication
