Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered bedside care during the overnight shift
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition
• Support safe transfers and positioning to prevent falls and pressure injuries
• Communicate clearly with nursing staff and report any concerns promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Current California CNA certification in good standing
• Active BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain quickly
• Comfortable working overnight hours and handling typical CNA duties
• Previous CNA experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB screening as required

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled at assisting with ADLs and basic patient care tasks
• Competent in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Good observation and reporting skills to communicate changes in patient status
• Team-oriented communication and a calm, professional bedside manner
