Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Provide compassionate, respectful bedside care and emotional support
• Document patient care and observations clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
• Maintain infection control practices and adhere to facility policies

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Active CNA license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain state certification
• Comfortable working a rotating day schedule and every other weekend
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or able to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements (immunizations, TB screening)

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and experience with ADLs
• Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
• Effective verbal and written communication with patients and team members
• Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans
• Team-oriented mindset and flexibility in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Familiarity with basic infection control and safety procedures
