Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe nursing care to patients across the shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform patient assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Support patient and family education to promote recovery and well-being
• Maintain professional standards, policies, and compliance with facility protocols

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license (appropriate to role) — Maine licensure preferred
• Current BLS certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Previous clinical experience in acute care, long-term care, or similar setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
• Dependable, professional, and able to work overnight shifts as scheduled

Education

• Registered Nurse: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma; BSN welcomed
• Licensed Practical Nurse: Practical Nursing certificate or diploma

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and IV documentation
• Electronic medical record (EMR) charting and clinical documentation
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Effective communication and teamwork with clinical staff
• Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
