Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs and report significant changes to the nursing team
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
• Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively and kindly with residents, families, and fellow staff
• Help promote resident independence and dignity in daily routines

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
• Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and reliability
• Prior experience as a CNA is a plus but new graduates are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience or knowledge of ADLs and basic patient care
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities
