Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients in a psychiatric setting
Monitor patient behavior and assist with daily living activities
Administer medications under supervision and document responses
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery
Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

Active California Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and unit demands

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of psychiatric nursing principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in documentation and electronic health records
Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
