Shift Type: Sunday-Tuesday, Friday-Saturday, 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate psychiatric care to patients in a medical-occupational therapy setting
Monitor patient behavior and administer medications under supervision
Document patient progress and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients

Qualifications

Active California LPT (Licensed Psychiatric Technician) license required
Minimum 1 year of recent psychiatric technician experience preferred
BLS certification from American Heart Association
Comfortable working evenings and weekends

Education

Completion of an accredited Psychiatric Technician program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of psychiatric disorders and treatments
Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
