Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living—bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and alert nursing staff to changes
• Support resident comfort and dignity through attentive, respectful care
• Assist with safe transfers and fall-prevention measures
• Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (state certification required)
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Comfortable working night shifts and performing physical aspects of resident care
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of safe patient handling and infection control practices
• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork with nursing staff and families
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
• Compassionate bedside manner and resident-centered approach
